where ya bin grendlechoice? been missing your writing

maybe we could temper our selections by naming a performance for our choices that was the exception

He's Gone 8/3/82 - pure crystaline...

shouldn't speak for you AshesRising, but i can't help but wonder if there isn't a particular Sugaree worth pulling out of your fireplace :)

high flow: if you haven't already, check out 9/2/83 Estimated, for once Bobby listens to those voices that tell him so ("step away from the microphone")

Hello Midnightsun - I have not heard that particular Estimated, I will.

For Ashes, I just dl'd 5/26/77(most here have heard all of 5/77, so this is a reminder) which opes w/ Music Never Stopped and goes directly to an interesting Sugaree. This set also has appearances by Sunrise and Passenger. Crystal-freakin'-clear sound. It probably won't convert you but...

P.S. - I have a good friend who hates Sugaree. You are not alone.

Nice to hear from YOU, Midnight!

I've been outta the loop, mostly since the loss of the boards curtailed my DL habit and so, outta sight, outta mind, I guess...

It's been tough, what with my further technological inability to figure out how to work alternate sites like GD Live to get gems like The Mosque 5-25-77...been listening to it here streaming since I got a decent computer recently (another reason i've been MIA for a while)...and man, what a show! But it sure would be nice to get a DL of it for cruising in the car, etc...

and is this a hint for any kind soul w/a clean Board of 5-25-77 to offer up a trade or burn for blanks? You bet it is! (I'm shameless when it comes to shows I feel i need like the air I breathe ;-)

GC

Hi GC - I just checked GDLive, but I do not see 5/25/77. Did you see this one at GDLive? If so, I'd dl it and send a copy to you when I can, but I don't have it as of today.

Please advise...

Hey,, thanks for the offer.

Actually, I was only going by what I had read in a review of the Mosque show from this site...I could have sworn that someone wrote 'you can DL this from GD Live' but maybe I was mistaken.

I usually use an alternate email address for trading here, and when I do post it, i edit it out of my post 5min later. Or whatever time is agreed.
Just a suggestion.
(and i'm the king of paranoia-cough!)

midnight sun: the only thing coming out of my fireplace is a Lady with a Fan and she fairly "laughs" at me. If I remember correctly, you saw the Lake Placid monster Sugaree as well, correct? I'll take your advice and play that tape tonight (w/"Birdsong > Esau > Deal" tryptic).--- AshesRising
